The Free Clothes Store

Here at Sandgrounder Radio we're delighted to be working in partnership with Lakeside Church on their Free Clothes Store project.

What is it all about? ...
The Free Clothes Store is a charitable ministry within @lakesidechurchuk that offers free clothing to those in need of help. Appointments are provided to give clients privacy and dignity.

Lots of fabulous condition clothes are donated every week and made available for individuals or families that are struggling to buy clothing is these increasingly difficult times.

How can you help? ...

One area they really need help with is in providing brand new underwear. They have a great relationship with a couple of local supermarkets that donate items from time to time, but unfortunately it's not enough to keep ahead of the need. Any cash donations are quicky spent on socks, bras and underwear and more and more are needed as families buckle under the financial strain the current economy has created. 

If every person bought one pack of underwear and dropped it off at the Lakeside base, it would be an enormous help.
