Weather Warning Due To Heavy Rain and Strong Winds

If you’re near the coast you’ve been advised to keep clear of the promenade, especially in areas such as Blackpool and Cleveleys due to the chance of big waves and rough seas caused by a mixture of heavy rain and strong winds

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for the North West Coast area of England for this evening (Friday 13th January)

Forecasters say there'll be heavy rain that is likely to lead to flooding in places.

The warning comes into affect between 9pm on Friday and 12pm on Saturday.

According to the Met Office people in these parts of the region can expect "heavy rain bringing the chance of some flooding and disruption."
